Brief: Planning, filming and editing a series of 3 short promotional videos, each encapsulating a pillar of the Heathfield Community College ethos.
The videos were to sit alongside the College's existing promotional videos. they needed to embody both the technical elements and spirit of the Heathfield brand identity.




I carried out extensive market research of both local and national competition, as well as the College’s previous output, summarising my findings in meetings with the Senior Leadership Team. To ensure a clear goal was established, I put together storyboards, and thorough written plans.
Filming took place over 2 months to ensure that I could capture the curricular and extracurricular experiences at Heathfield in suitable depth. I communicated frequently with staff in all departments to coordinate the filming of lessons, practicals, clubs and whole-year-group events.
Exceptional time management and organisational skills were needed to manage filming and editing concurrently, while working in line with strict data management and photo consent procedures. A thorough review and feedback process then took place, before the videos were shown and published online in Autumn 2024, where they have since amassed over 7000 views.
